Welcome to Ministry of the Word

The Background to this site

E-mail Print PDF

God reached and saved my precious soul on 24th November 2008. I accepted my place before a thrice Holy God, as a guilty, hell-deserving sinner and put simple faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work at Calvary.

God has promised that all who believe in His Son and put their trust in the Saviour will immediately have their sins forgiven and will pass from darkness unto light. The Lord Jesus is coming again to receive His own unto Himself and we shall be like Him because we shall be with Him and we shall see Him as He is. Any who haven't believed the Gospel will be left behind for judgement, a solemn thought.

Having spent quite a few months cataloging recordings of various meetings I had in my possession, I felt it was a worthwhile exercise to make these recordings freely available to whoever wanted them.

The collection has been accumulated from a variety of web sites, given mention in the Web Links section, as well as including recordings that my father did during meetings at his local Gospel Hall.

Any visitor is free to listen to or download any of the recordings available.

I'll continue to update the site with any new recordings as and when I get them.

This site has been developed to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ as the only true mediator between God and sinful man.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5)

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36)

My prayer to God is that the Holy Spirit might bring some poor sinner to a recognition of their guilt before a Holy God and a realisation that none need perish for Christ has died

"...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3)

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all." (Isaiah 53:5-6)

I trust that believers in the Lord Jesus may receive blessing through listening to the Word of God faithfully preached through the Lord's servants.
